i have a random semi-formal polka-dotted dress, I have a super long silky empire waisted dress that is really formal, i have my bridesmaids dress from my sister’s wedding, I have the typical casual-ish high waisted ruffled skirt dress that has an attached tank top, and a great dress with a rap around collar that has buttons and stuff on it, but the freeking sides are too big so I have to pin them, and I’ve worn it too many times. I have a bright coral shirt-dress thing that is a tank top on one side, and then just a regular shirt on the other, that would be great except the color is hideous and at a distance looks like i am naked and very misshapen. not to mention it is like… cardigan material. so it definitely doesn’t hide a thing.
“You hold on to bitterness towards somebody that, you think you’ve got them sort of in a cage, like you’ve got them under your thumb. But really, they have you. You’re the one whose being controlled if you can’t forgive somebody. So, I just felt such a freedom when I’ve been able to forgive, even somebody who didn’t ask for my forgiveness. Like, when Jesus is on the cross he prays for the people who put him there, and they didn’t ask him to pray for them, and they didn’t say they were sorry. So I think to be able to forgive people who never said they were sorry, that’s really very freeing. And you never have to hold onto any anger, or resentment or desire for revenge.”—
