I’m kinda freaking out cuz my sister is gonna have the blow dryer and flat iron this week. my hairs gonna be a mess without em. And then even if I had em I don’t wanna get hassled by the other guys in the dorm who don’t put as much work into their hair. Womp womp.
Spencer would straighten his hair and use hairspray like crazy when he would style it.
“Opponents of same-sex marriage may feel, subjectively, that something would be imposed on them by the state’s decision to recognise same-sex marriages. But what is that something, exactly? It’s much easier to show how the state is concretely imposing on gays by denying recognition for same-sex marriages. In a pluralistic society, you can’t claim to have been harmed when the state declines to impose your religious norms on those who don’t share them. And without some such claim to justify it, Proposition 8 is looking pretty constitutionally shaky right now.”—
Even now, in states where it is legal, pastors and priests are being sued for denying doing a gay wedding. THAT is how it harms us. because everybody now-a-days gets offended by every single thing, so if a person does not want to do a gay wedding, because it goes against their beliefs, they can legally be hated and sued for it.
plus… the term marriage is a biblical term. you can be in a relationship. just make the state recognize it for tax purposes like married couples and it will be the same, just don’t force anybody to agree to anything, or take the term, that is sacred, and change it because you want equality.
I don’t by any means treat any person differently because of their sexual orientation, but this post just bugged me because obviously they do not understand. Why on earth would anyone fight for something if it wouldn’t cause any problems with anyone?
